The Science behind the Lyme Laser Protocol™

Over the past few decades the approach to treating Lyme disease has been focused on three objectives. First has been to attack the Lyme bacterium directly, second has been to treat the co-infections and third has been to boost the body’s immune system. There has been little to no success in the past and unfortunately, these are still the practices and objectives of doctors and researchers today. Our team at the Lyme Laser Centers has been working with Doctors, scientists and researchers for over two decades to find a valid solution for Lyme disease.Our approach is different. Our focus has been on the protective armor that the spirochete uses to protect itself from any invading source that can do it harm, the “Biofilm”.

What happens to the spirochete if it no longer has the protective biofilm? The answer, it becomes just another ordinary bacterium that can then be eliminated from the body just as all other bacteria can.

What Exactly is a Biofilm and how does it protect the Lyme spirochete?

When the spirochete (“bugs”) get scared from something invading their territory such as antibiotics, steroids, herbs, plants, or any other natural or chemical substances that can harm them, they develop the protective biofilm and hide within it. Since none of the above things mentioned can penetrate the biofilm, the bugs are protected. The Lyme spirochete can stay protected under that Biofilm for as long as it exists.

This is why the symptoms seem to go away when taking antibiotics or natural remedies. As long as the bugs are scared they stay protected via the biofilm. Once the source of fear is gone, the bugs come out of hiding and your symptoms start to reappear all over again, generally within 3 to 4 weeks.

More importantly, while the bugs are in hiding, they create a more serious issue, they lay their larvae which can stay burrowed into your tissues for years. They will eventually incubate and when there are enough of them, your health issues start all over again. At the Lyme Laser Centers, we have a solution to keep this from happening.

Logic dictates that if the biofilm can be deteriorated, then the spirochete no longer has its protection and therefore can be eliminated. Furthermore, those hatchlings, not having the time to form a Biofilm of their own until reaching maturity, have nowhere to hide and can be eliminated easily as well.

How can we deteriorate biofilms?

Antibiotics are the most widely used chemical given to Lyme patients as treatment despite research that has proven that they cannot deteriorate the biofilm.

There are several natural herbs and plants that can deteriorate the biofilm but the human body cannot absorb them in quantities enough to be effective.

The body has saturation points, for even those things that the body needs in order to sustain life such as water and oxygen.  Although necessary for life, too much of either will kill you. So, the body has a protective mechanism or saturation level in which it will reject it if you put too much into the body.  A perfect example of this is the body’s saturation point for water which is 2.83 gallons in a 24-hour period. Any more than that, the body will reject it and force you to reject it (throw it up).

The Answer: Introducing Lasers

Lasers can enhance body processes. They can do the same for all living entities including but not limited to all plants.

As stated earlier, there are certain plant and herb mixtures that can deteriorate the biofilm. The problem is and always has been that they are so acidic that the body’s saturation point for the absorption of those plants and herbs is way lower than the amount necessary to deteriorate the biofilm.  In come lasers…

Through research, development and utilizing the precise dynamics of lasers to match the plant and herb mixtures (not the spirochete or immune system), you can surpass the threshold of the saturation point which will allow for the deterioration of the biofilm.

At the Lyme Laser Centers, we utilize several Laser settings that are matched to the precise dynamics necessary to achieve results for Lyme patients.

It cannot be stressed enough on how precise and exact the dynamics of the lasers MUST be in order to get the desired results.


When using lasers without the correct dynamics for the correct reasons, they have the potential to enhance the Lyme spirochetes, which make them more active and more fertile resulting in the production of more spirochetes. Do not try to kill the Lyme spirochete or boost the body’s immune system without the absolute correct dynamics of the lasers. The chance you will make your problems worse is extremely high.

“The Lyme Bacterium “Borrelia Burgdorferi”

Cyst Form and Lyme Disease
Borrelia Burgdorferi can transform into a cyst when it feels its life is threatened. While in cyst form, Borrelia obtains immunity from antibiotics, its host’s immune system, and temperature and PH variations. It can also lower its metabolic rate while in cyst form in order to ward off starvation.

When conditions within its host become more favorable, it will transform back into its spirochetal form. A spirochete also has the added protection of a biofilm if it morphs into a cyst while inside a biofilm.

Borrelia Burgdorferi in cyst form exists on a microscopic level and can only be seen with a microscope.

Cyst forms of Borrelia are asymptomatic. This means a person will not experience any symptoms from Borrelia Burgdorferi while it’s in cyst form protected by the biofilm.

Considering that Borrelia is thought to remain in cyst form for a long period of time, the delusion of remission is created in the host. Being that a cyst offers immunity from antibiotics, it can simply wait until antibiotics cease in order to transform back in a spirochete, leading the host to believe a relapse or reinfection is occurring when their symptoms reappear.

Since Borrelia can’t reproduce while in cyst form, it will reproduce when it transforms back into a spirochete after antibiotics have ceased launching what is believed to be relapse. In reality, a relapse is nothing more than the incomplete eradication of the bacteria during antibiotic treatment.

Cyst forms can also become drug-resistant just like the spirochete form. The lessening of a “herxheimer” reaction may not be an indication of remission, but more of an indication of a drug-resistant cyst form.

Antibiotics alone will not eradicate Borrelia as they must work in conjunction with biofilm dissolvers and cyst busters. Cyst busters are used to complete what antibiotics aren’t capable of and that is destroying Borrelia in cyst form.

What Cold Laser Therapy Does:

Through the action of photo-stimulation of light reactive biological receptors (chromophores) in the body, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has demonstrated the ability to significantly accelerate and enhance the body’s natural defense and repair components in the presence of injury, inflammation and certain disease processes. Laser irradiation of tissue cultures of a mammalian cell has been shown to result in a change in membrane permeability, increased ATP levels and increased DNA production. The photons picked up by the cell membrane result in improved membrane stability and increased activity of the ATP dependent Na/K pump. Because cell metabolism is influenced by Na/K movement across the membrane, increasing the gradient will affect the flow of ions and hence the overall metabolism of the cell.

Are Low Level Lasers Proven Effective?

Low Level Laser Therapy is being used as a successful treatment option for countless conditions all over the world.

Low Level Lasers have been used for over 30 years in many countries as therapeutic energy to bring about favorable biological effects in people, plants and animals.

Unlike many therapies and drugs that just treat symptoms, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) can actually promote and enhance healing. LLLT is the future of medicine and is a modality that is rapidly growing in popularity throughout the world.

Are Low Level Lasers Safe?

Simply, YES.

When Low Level Lasers are used correctly, they are very safe. The most important safety regulation is to avoid pointing a laser at the eye. Stimulating lasers have a particularly powerful beam and can cause harm to the retina.

Do not point them directly at a fetus during pregnancy, or directly over any cancer.

Cold lasers have been used successfully for over 30 years with no reported incidences of anyone being injured. Lasers can be used safely during pregnancy over the body, but not directly on the fetus.

Lasers are used in some countries for treating cancer and heart disease.

Low Level Laser Therapy has been proven completely safe in over 2000 worldwide studies. To date, there are no known reports of anyone being harmed from a low-level laser.
